If you are a business and you want to be viable through the end of the year you need to be online.  The face of business around the world has changed thanks to the internet and when you use it as a tool you will find that the internet can make your business better than it could have ever been before the web was around.  If you are a business and you want to be as convenient and as relevant as possible for your customers, you need to offer online payment processing.

Online payment processing is the ability to process payments that are made online.  For instance, when you shop at your local retailer online and you make the payment, you are taking advantage of their online payment processing.  If you have a website and you have products and you are not selling online, you are losing money hand over fist.  Many consumers will buy from another resource just because they are more convenient to make payments with.  Why lose business when you don’t have to?  Offer online payment processing and watch your business take off in new and exciting ways that perhaps you didn’t even realize were possible!

In order to save energy on home appliancesone can opt for the following things:

1. About 20% of the household electricity is used by refrigerator. The gaskets around the freezer or doors should be tight enough so that no air passes through them. Put the temperature of the refrigerator at 37 and that of the freezer at 3 degrees. The Energy saving switch should be on. Turn down your refrigerator in winters.

2. Switch on the dishwasher only when it is full and don’t forget to switch on the energy saving switch. If possible, dry the dishes in air. The drying cycle can be turned off manually. It will save 20% of the electricity the dish washer uses in all.

3. Thermostats of the water heaters generally run on 140 degrees F while 120 degree is quite enough for the water to get heated, so turn off the thermostat of the water heater. Reduction up to 10 degrees can save about 600pounds of CO2 per annum for a water heater and about 440 pounds of CO2 on a gas heater. Just think if every household adopts this technique of saving up to 20% of electricity, we may prevent the emission of CO2 up to 45 million tons per annum. This amount is equal to the total amount Libya or Kuwait release every year.

4. Set your washing machine to the cold or warm water setting instead of hot water. If you use warm water over hot water, two times per week, you may save about 500 pounds of CO2 per annum if it is an electric heater and 500 pounds of CO2 if a gas heater is used.

5. While replacing the old electric appliances, select the models that are energy efficient. There is always a mark on the models that claim to be energy savers-Energy Star Label. Look for this label. Try to buy a model that fits your requirements and not a bigger one. By fixing a solar heater, you can save CO2 up to 4.9 tons pre annum.

The act, the Worker, Homeowner, and Business Assistance Act came into existence on November 6, 2009. This act has led to the expansion and extension of First-time Homebuyers Act which was passed previously. If you want to avail of the first-time home buyer credit, you must know what qualifications are required to apply for this credit and how to proceed to derive maximum advantage from the housing stimulus. One of the key questions frequently asked is – who is eligible for the first-time homebuyer credit?

Any person who wants to purchase a home for the first time is eligible for the first-time homebuyer credit. According to law, a person who has not bought any primary residence in the last three years can be considered a first-time home buyer. Those, who own a rental property or a house to spend vacations in and do not use that property as their primary residence, are also qualified as first-time buyers. As far as married couples are concerned, if one of them has purchased a house in the last three years, then the couple is disqualified for the tax credit. Any person in the Foreign Services, intelligence community, or military can be considered eligible for the tax credit.
